Atlas of Air Quality in the Tritia Region

Maps in the Atlas of Air Quality in the TRITIA region cover the landscape on the borderland of three countries - the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. It is home to over 7.5 million people and includes four regions - Opole, Silesian, Moravian-Silesian and Žilina. In addition to a large concentration of population, industry and transport, this region one major problem characterizes and it is highly polluted air. It affects the development and gradual transformation of the whole region. This atlas will help to picture better the distribution and especially the causes of air pollution, the relationship between sources and pollution. This book summarizes a number of pieces of information that emerged during the three-year project, which aimed to describe the causes of nowadays air quality in the region and propose how to improve it.
